MDS CLUB: The MARATHON DES SABLES closer to you

We often think that the adventure of the MARATHON DES SABLES begins on a starting line, in the heart of the desert or in the mountains. In reality, it starts long before… and never truly ends.

With the MDS Clubs, the spirit of the MARATHON DES SABLES now lives all year round, all over the world.

The MDS Club is the official community of the Marathon des Sables. Free and open to both former participants and future entrants (MDS Legendary, MDS 120, MDS Trek, MDS Ultra, MDS Raid, MDS Crazy Loops, or MDS Handi), it brings together runners, trail runners, and adventurers around a shared mindset: pushing beyond limits, solidarity, and passion.

The MDS Clubs extend the MDS experience far beyond the race itself.

Through local events, members come together for:

• road and trail running sessions
• pack training sessions to prepare for a desert race
• gear and nutrition workshops
• talks and meet-ups with finishers
• moments of sharing and networking

Goal: to build a committed local running community, share the MARATHON DES SABLES experience, and prepare together for upcoming editions—whether it’s an MDS Legendary, MDS 120, MDS Trek, or MDS Crazy Loops.

Present in France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Canada, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and many other countries, the MDS Clubs have become true hubs for the Marathon des Sables community.
