Because the MDS is an extreme and demanding sporting adventure, it can happen that a participant does not cross the finish line. To give runners a second chance, the Organizer has created the "No-Finisher Guarantee" (hereinafter referred to as the "Invitation").
Definition:
The Invitation allows any MDS participant who did not complete their adventure to benefit from a free re-registration for the following edition, on an offer equivalent to the one initially purchased. This Invitation covers only the entry fees (registration fees) and expressly excludes any other costs (transportation, equipment, options, or additional services).
Eligible Editions:
The "No-Finisher Guarantee" applies to all MDS editions, except for:
- The first editions
- The MDS Legendary
- The MDS Crazy Loops
Eligibility Conditions:
To benefit from the Invitation, the No-Finisher must:
1. Confirm their intention by sending an email to the Organizer within two (2) months following the end of the relevant edition;
2. Be medically fit to participate in the following edition and provide a medical certificate that meets the Organizer’s requirements.
Accordingly:
- If the No-Finisher wishes to use the Invitation for a more expensive offer than their original registration, they must pay the price difference.
- If the price of the offer initially purchased by the No-Finisher increases for the next edition, no additional payment will be required.
- If the offer initially purchased by the No-Finisher is no longer available for the following edition, the Invitation will apply to an equivalent offer, chosen by the Organizer.
The Invitation:
- Applies only to No-Finishers, and therefore does not include any accompanying person.
- Covers only the entry fees (registration fees) and does not include equipment, flights, or any additional or optional expenses.
- Is valid only if the No-Finisher:
- Explicitly expresses their intention to use the Invitation by emailing the Organizer within two months following the end of the MDS edition in which they participated;
- Is medically fit to participate in the MDS edition for which they are invited, and provides a medical certificate in accordance with the Organizer’s requirements.
- Cannot be canceled, postponed, or exchanged, and under no circumstances entitles the No-Finisher to a refund of any amount from the Organizer.
- Is valid only once, meaning that any No-Finisher invited by the Organizer who does not complete the 3 stages of the MDS edition for which they are invited cannot benefit from a new invitation for a future edition.
