Everyone moves at their own pace, carried by the collective energy and the magic of the mountains. One loop, ten, twenty… anything is possible. You take part according to your wishes, solo or in a team, at your own rhythm, running or walking.

Experience ultra-running differently

3 to 5 Handi teams will share the course with you: you’ll cross paths with their effort, their smiles, and sometimes, you’ll even help them climb a hill.

Everyone is a Helping Runner. On a steeper section, a technical descent, or simply for the joy of sharing: you can join a Handi team at any moment and help them move forward.

No fixed roles, no rules to follow, just solidarity in action.

COURMAYEUR

A high-altitude haven at the foot of Mont Blanc

Nestled in the heart of the Aosta Valley, Courmayeur is an iconic mountain resort where summer takes on a truly grand dimension. Dominated by the legendary peaks of the Mont Blanc massif, between shimmering glaciers, larch forests, and vast Alpine valleys—this Italian resort offers a spectacular setting that is both elegant and deeply natural.

In the warmer months, Courmayeur becomes a true playground for lovers of the outdoors and wide-open spaces: panoramic hiking, high-altitude trail running, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, and wellness experiences facing the peaks. Here, every route is an immersion into the heart of high mountain terrain—an invitation to push your limits, to contemplate, and to experience summer with intensity.

Here, the champions of the ultra aren’t necessarily the ones who run the fastest or the farthest. They are also those we call “Handi”, because for them, the ultra is every day. Every movement is an effort. Every effort, a victory.

Crazy Loops is an experience to be lived together:

a 3 to 5 km loop to repeat freely
run, walk, push, pull, stop… and go again
celebrate, share a meal, exchange a glance

Here, we learn not to fear disability, but to see it as a strength that lifts us all. You come with your legs, your arms, your wheels, your doubts, your energy.

You leave with new connections, bonds, and sometimes, a renewed drive.

Everyone is welcome

Your four-legged companions are welcome on site and along the course.

Be sure to bring their essentials, such as water and food, so they can fully enjoy the adventure too.

Mixed Teams (M/F): A team must consist of a minimum of 2 participants, with no maximum limit (you may be 5, 10, 12, etc.). The number of laps completed by each team member will be added together. Therefore, the more participants your team has, the greater your chances of winning. All team members must be registered for the same time format.

For safety reasons, a wheelchair participant must be part of a Handi team composed of one pusher and one puller.

THE SPECIFICS

Accommodation: the Flexi-Bivouac

You have two options to experience the adventure according to your style:

Bivouac Option: individual tent provided at the camp (with an option adapted to the specific needs of participants with disabilities).

Independent Option: no tent will be provided, so you can arrange your own accommodation in the resort.

The bivouac is also a shared living space, with continuous drinking water and hot water points for meals.

Food and Gear: Simple and Essential

You manage your own food throughout the weekend.
You can either bring your own meals and snacks; drinking water is continuously available at the camp and along the course, as well as hot water for freeze-dried meals.

Restaurants will also be available nearby for the entire duration of the MDS Crazy Loops.

No heavy logistics. You carry only what you need to complete the loops. With or without a backpack, you’ll need a minimum of 500 ml of water to have some on the loop, along with food and appropriate clothing. A complete checklist will be sent to you once your registration is confirmed.
