VOLUNTEERS

Join the MDS Adventure as a volunteer

Without volunteers, the MDS wouldn’t exist. Every year, a team of volunteers from all walks of life comes together to bring the event to life.

Being a volunteer at the MDS is more than just helping: it’s giving your all to create a unique adventure for the participants, while experiencing an intense and unforgettable human journey yourself.

TWO COLORS,
ONE TEAM

At the MDS, volunteers are divided into two complementary teams:

Relations Runners (blue jackets): directly interacting with participants to welcome, guide, and support them.

Medical Teams (orange jackets): Responsible for ensuring the safety of all participants.

Their shared mission: to help every participant cross the finish line happy and under the best possible conditions.

Blue jackets: Open to all profiles
Orange jackets: Doctors (emergency, anesthesiology, general), nurses, nurse anesthetists (IADE), and podiatrists

DO YOU HAVE THE MDS SPIRIT?

Volunteering at the MDS is a mindset. If you have energy, enthusiasm, give 100% to everything you do, are ready to live at the intense pace of the desert for 7 to 10 days depending on the format, to step out of your comfort zone, and take on long and busy days… then you belong with us.

Speaking one or more languages in addition to your native language is an advantage, but not required. The most important thing is motivation and the desire to share an intense collective adventure.
