Everyone moves at their own pace, carried by the collective energy and the magic of the mountains. One loop, ten, twenty… anything is possible. You take part according to your wishes, solo or in a team, at your own rhythm, running or walking.

Experience ultra running in a whole new way

3 to 5 Handi teams will share the course with you. You'll cross paths with their determination, their smiles, and sometimes, you’ll even help them tackle a steep hill.

Everyone is a Helping Runner. On a tough climb, a tricky downhill, or just for the joy of it: you can join a Handi team at any moment and help them move forward.

No fixed roles, no rules: just solidarity in motion.

One of the most beautiful natural settings in Europe: the French Alps. Here, everything feels more intense, purer, more alive. From dizzying ridges to lush valleys, from deep forests to sunlit alpine meadows, every square meter is an invitation to escape.

Nestled in the heart of the Alps, Courchevel 1850 transforms in summer into a majestic playground for nature and adventure lovers. Known for its winter elegance, the resort reveals a whole new side under the sun: spectacular panoramas, alpine forests, soaring ridges, and high-altitude trails that beckon you to explore.

At 1,850 meters above sea level, you move through a magnificent setting, between peaks and high-altitude lakes, where the air is pure and the silence breathtaking.

Here, nature is grand but accessible. It welcomes athletes and dreamers, trail runners and wanderers, kilometer chasers and party-goers seeking a different kind of weekend. Here, the ultra-champions aren’t necessarily the fastest or those who go the furthest. They’re also the ones we call “Handi” — because for them, ultra is everyday life. Every movement is an effort. Every effort, a victory.

Crazy Loops is an experience to be lived together:

A 3 to 5 km loop, repeated freely

We celebrate, we share a meal, we connect with a glance

Everyone is welcome

Your four-legged companions are welcome on-site and along the course.

Be sure to bring their essentials, such as water and food, so they can fully enjoy the adventure as well.

Mixed Teams (M/F): A team must consist of a minimum of 2 participants, with no maximum limit (you may be 5, 10, 12, etc.). The number of laps completed by each team member will be added together. Therefore, the more participants your team has, the greater your chances of winning. All team members must be registered for the same time format.

For safety reasons, a wheelchair participant must be part of a Handi team composed of one pusher and one puller.

KEY DETAILS

Accommodation: The Flexi-Bivouac

Two options are available to experience the adventure your way:

Bivouac Option: Individual tent provided at the camp (with adaptations available for participants with specific disabilities).
Independent Option: No tent provided, so you can book your own accommodation in the resort.

The bivouac is also a shared living space, with continuous access to drinking water and hot water points for meal preparation.

Food and Gear: Simple and Essential

You manage your own meals throughout the weekend.
You can bring your own food and snacks; water is provided continuously at the camp and along the course, as well as hot water for freeze-dried meals.

Restaurants will also be available nearby throughout the MDS Crazy Loops event.

No heavy logistics. Carry only what you need to complete the loops. With or without a backpack, you’ll need to carry at least 500 ml of water, some food, and clothing suitable for the conditions. A full equipment list will be sent to you once your registration is confirmed.
