Special conditions of the offer

If a HALF MARATHON DES SABLES participant doesn’t complete the 3 stages of the adventure, he or she will be invited to the next edition of the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES on the same offer and the same destination (does not include flight, equipment, and other additional options).

This invitation means that the Organizer will pay only the entry fees (i.e., the registration cost) of the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES NO-FINISHER on an equivalent offer to the one chosen by the NO-FINISHER when registering for the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES.

Attention, this offer is valid on all our HALF MARATHON DES SABLES, except in case of first editions.

• If the NO-FINISHER would like to benefit from the Invitation and choose a more expensive offer, he will have to pay the price difference.

• If the amount of the offer chosen by the NO-FINISHER at the time of his registration to the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES were to increase on the next edition, the NO-FINISHER wouldn’t have to pay the difference.

• If the offer subscribed by the NO-FINISHER at the time of his registration to the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES should no longer exist on the next edition, the Invitation will be made on an equivalent offer in terms of cost, chosen by the Organizer.

• Only concerns the NO-FINISHER, and therefore doesn’t include the invitation of the possible companion person. This means that if the NO-FINISHER had subscribed to the "Hotel + Companion" offer, he would be invited on a similar offer, without companion.
• Covers only the commitment fee (i.e., the registration cost) and therefore does not include materials, plane tickets, and any other additional costs or options.
• Is only valid as long as the NO-FINISHER:
  • Expresses his or her intention to benefit from the invitation by writing an email to the Organizer within the two months following the end of the edition of the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES in which he or she participated.
  • Is medically capable to participate to the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES and presents a valid medical certificate to the Organizer.
• Is neither cancellable, postponable, or exchangeable, and therefore cannot allow the NO-FINISHER to be reimbursed any amount by the Organizer.
• Is valid only one time, so that any NO-FINISHER invited by the Organizer who doesn’t finish the 3 stages of the HALF MARATHON DES SABLES to which he or she is invited, will not be able to receive a new invitation for the next edition.
