Multi-Finisher Program Condition

General Terms & Conditions of the “Multi-Finisher” Program

This document defines the terms and conditions of the “Multi-Finisher” program offered by Marathon des Sables (hereinafter referred to as “MDS”).

The purpose of this program is to reward the loyalty of participants who have successfully completed several MDS adventures by granting them specific benefits.

 

Application and Eligibility:

 

  • Enrollment in the program is automatic for any participant who has obtained finisher status in at least one MDS adventure.

  • “Crazy Loops” events are not taken into account in the calculation of Multi-Finisher status.

  • Multi-Finisher benefits do not apply to registrations for MDS Legendary or MDS Crazy Loops events.

 

Participation Eligibility Conditions:

 

  • Only participations validated with finisher status are counted.

  • The following events each count as one participation in the calculation of Multi-Finisher status:

 

> MDS 120

> MDS Trek

> MDS Raid

> MDS Legendary

> MDS Ultra

> MDS Handi

  • In the event of a “non-finisher” status, no status progression will be granted.

Please refer to the non-finisher guarantee conditions (legal page).

  • Free registrations (competition prizes, exceptional invitations, partner invitations) are not taken into account.

 

Benefits Granted:

  • Each adventure completed as a finisher increases the participant’s Multi-Finisher status.
  • The program includes several discount levels, ranging from 5% (Bronze) to 30% (Diamond), applicable to eligible events.
  • Example: completing both an MDS Legendary and an MDS 120 Jordan event entitles the participant to a 10% discount on a future adventure (excluding Legendary and Crazy Loops events).

Application Terms: 

  • The discount is automatically applied during registration, provided that the selected event is eligible and that the participant holds a valid status.
  • No anticipated status progression based on future participations will be granted. 

If your registration for an event has been confirmed but the event has not yet taken place, your Multi-Finisher status remains unchanged and does not entitle you to any additional discount for future registrations. 

Example: you are registered for MDS 120 Morocco in October. In September, you decide to register for MDS 120 Turkey taking place the following year. The discount does not apply because your participation in MDS 120 Morocco has not yet taken place at the time of your registration for MDS 120 Turkey.

  • Discounts granted under the program are strictly personal, assigned to a single participant, and non-transferable.​​​​​​​

 

Special Cases and Exclusions: 

  • The Multi-Finisher discount does not apply if another specific discount is already active (e.g. launch offer, “former participant” offer, exceptional destination discount, or special discount linked to a new format), and/or when specified in the terms and regulations of a specific event.

  • Combining benefits with other promotional offers is excluded unless expressly stated otherwise in the conditions of an event.

 

Program Revision and Modification: 

MDS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the “Multi-Finisher” program at any time.

Any modification will be published on the official MDS website and will become effective upon publication, without prior individual notification.
